Tipper / Tanker Driver

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is seeking experienced Tipper/Tanker Drivers for its Gaskell & Red Hill Quarries to deliver bulk products to local and regional customers. Drivers will operate modern semi‑trailer or truck‑and‑dog fleets, starting early mornings and working up to 10‑plus hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Operate semi‑trailer or truck‑and‑dog fleets to transport bulk materials from the quarry to client sites.
• Start shifts between 4 am and 6 am, working up to 50‑55 hours per week, including overtime on Saturdays.
• Use cutting‑edge technology for route mapping, safety monitoring, and daily tracking.

Required profile

• Hold a valid HC licence with prior truck and dog driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Willingness to adhere to weight limits on certain vehicles for safety.
