Talent Acquisition Consultant – Fixed-Term (6‑12 months)

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Consultant will partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers and HR Business Partners across Australia and New Zealand to deliver end‑to‑end recruitment solutions. You will be responsible for attracting, assessing and hiring top talent while ensuring a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers and HRBP teams to understand workforce planning needs and hiring priorities.
• Own the full recruitment lifecycle – from intake, sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer management and onboarding.
• Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies for technical, professional and leadership roles.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring hiring needs.
• Conduct candidate assessments, provide market insights and hiring recommendations.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement.
• Leverage internal and external channels such as referrals, job boards, social media, agencies and talent communities.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, Australian employment laws and DEI objectives.
• Utilise recruitment technologies and reporting tools to track progress, ensure data integrity and deliver metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of recruitment experience in‑house, agency or RPO.
• Proven full‑cycle recruitment across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Strong direct sourcing and talent‑mapping capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with ownership of hiring outcomes.
