Strategic Solutions Engineer

About the role

ClickUp is hiring a Strategic Solutions Engineer to accelerate partner‑sourced and partner‑influenced revenue across the APAC region. The role sits at the intersection of enterprise pre‑sales, partner enablement and solution architecture, acting as a technical force multiplier for up‑market partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured partner enablement programs, including workflow mapping, AI agents, and competitive positioning.
• Serve as technical lead on partner‑sourced deals from discovery through proof‑of‑concept to post‑sales hand‑off, tying activities to measurable revenue outcomes.
• Support Account Executives on strategic direct opportunities, leading discovery, solution design and demos.
• Lead technical demonstrations for prospective partners and showcase new platform capabilities to expand their practice.
• Enable partners to identify, scope and sell Certified Agent opportunities and deliver AI transformation workshops.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Professional Services, Customer Success, Product and Engineering to resolve technical questions and feed partner insights back into the product.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise pre‑sales, solutions engineering or a comparable customer‑facing technical role.
• 2+ years supporting or enabling channel partners, VARs or system integrators in a partner‑led go‑to‑market motion.
• Proven ability to build enablement programs from scratch and to coach partners on discovery, demos and solution design.
• Strong presentation, storytelling and workshop facilitation skills with a focus on business outcomes.
• Hands‑on experience with AI, large language models and integration platforms such as Unito, Workato, Zapier or Integromat.
• Ability to analyse, document and improve complex business processes across diverse environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
