Senior Water Leader – Executive Manager Operations & Technical Services

About the role

Central Tablelands Water is seeking a purpose‑driven senior leader to join the Executive Leadership Team as the Executive Manager Operations & Technical Services (EMOTS). This role oversees water service delivery for more than 15,000 residents, offering broad autonomy and direct influence on strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all operational and technical functions to ensure safe, sustainable, and reliable water services.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, building capability across operations, technical services, asset management, compliance and long‑term planning.
• Drive operational excellence and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Oversee asset management, capital works, and infrastructure planning programmes.
• Strengthen systems, data and performance frameworks.
• Contribute to organisation‑wide strategic direction as a core member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience, preferably in the water sector or local government.
• Strong people‑leadership, sound judgement and ability to balance strategic thinking with operational oversight.
• Motivated by impact, autonomy and the opportunity to shape a regional water utility.
