Senior System Engineer – Windows Server & Cloud Identity

About the role

The Senior System Engineer will own the operation and security of Windows Server environments, manage PKI lifecycle, and support cloud identity integrations. The role requires strong troubleshooting, automation, and cross‑team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including patching, hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Design, issue, renew, and revoke certificates using KeyFactor Command.
• Administer Active Directory, Domain Controllers, GPOs, replication, and overall AD health.
• Support cloud identity services such as Entra Connect, Entra ID, and integrate on‑prem systems with Azure.
• Manage AWS Connect integrations and related cloud services.
• Deploy and support Azure Virtual Desktop environments and user profiles, including Nerdio provisioning.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortems.
• Automate operational tasks with scripting and maintain runbooks and health‑check documentation.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
• NV1 security clearance.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator or Identity & Access Administrator.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration.
• PKI and certificate management (KeyFactor Command preferred).
• Active Directory and Domain Controller administration.
• Entra Connect and Entra ID configuration.
• Azure Virtual Desktop and Nerdio provisioning.
• Scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell).
• Experience with AWS services and AWS Connect.
• Familiarity with VMware and CyberArk Machine Identity (nice to have).
