Senior Solutions Architect – Financial Services

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to guide Financial Services customers in modernising, migrating and innovating on AWS. You will act as a trusted advisor, aligning cloud solutions with business goals and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with Financial Services customers, understand their challenges and compliance needs.
• Design, architect and lead implementation of secure, resilient and scalable cloud solutions for application modernisation and data‑center migration.
• Partner across internal teams to optimise cloud infrastructure and ensure alignment with industry‑specific regulations.
• Maintain expertise in the latest AWS services and share knowledge across customer organisations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking or data analytics.
• Proven ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Financial Services applications, infrastructure and compliance constraints.
