Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

A multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in South Sydney, with around 50 engineers, is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. The firm works on complex projects such as schools, mixed-use developments, pubs, clubs, leisure centres and some light industrial developments, and is open to candidates coming from larger companies. After twelve months, employees become eligible for profit share.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical building services projects with minimal supervision, owning your own designs.
• Work closely with mechanical, hydraulic and structural engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
• Build your own Revit models and carry out lighting calculations in DIALux.
• Lead projects and manage your own fees.

Required profile

• Client-facing electrical building services design engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Ability to design and deliver a project with minimal supervision.
