About the role
MYOB, a business management solutions provider for Australia and New Zealand, is hiring a Senior Commercial Finance Manager for its Flare brand. You will partner closely with the Leadership team to help shape smart, sustainable growth, lead financial planning and forecasting, build financial models and turn complex numbers into practical advice. The role sits in the Commercial Finance & Operations area.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with executive and senior leaders to provide commercial insights, financial guidance and support for strategic decisions
- Lead commercial finance across pricing, deal economics, investment cases and business performance reviews
- Own financial forecasting and P&L performance analysis, identifying risks and managing opportunities
- Build financial models and turn SaaS and business performance metrics into clear, actionable insights
- Champion AI and automation to improve reporting, forecasting and decision-making
- Lead, coach and develop the commercial finance team
- Work with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations and Finance to deliver strong commercial outcomes
Required profile
- Significant experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering within a SaaS, technology or subscription-based business
- Track record of partnering with executive and senior leadership to influence commercial outcomes and business strategy
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing decisions, investment cases and business performance management
- Leadership experience developing and coaching high-performing finance teams
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or a related field; CA or CPA qualifications are highly regarded
Required skills
- Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities
- Ability to turn complex data into clear business insights
- Experience improving processes and using AI, automation or data tools to improve efficiency and decision quality
