Senior Business Analyst – Transformation Office

About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Chief Transformation Office, you will help ANZ deliver strategic, regulatory and risk‑related reforms targeting financial crime and external fraud in Australia. You will work closely with business and delivery teams to analyse current and future processes, define requirements and ensure sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, document and validate business requirements and translate them into user stories, process maps and functional specifications.
• Analyse current‑state processes, identify improvement opportunities and assess impacts across people, technology, risk and controls.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align on solutions and support prioritisation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Change Managers, SMEs and technology teams to support testing, implementation and transition activities.
• Maintain traceability of requirements, ensure compliance with ANZ governance frameworks and contribute to project reporting.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement or change delivery.
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience delivering regulatory, risk or compliance programmes, preferably in financial crime, AML/CTF or related domains.
• Ability to work autonomously in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies
• Business analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA or IIBA‑AAC
