Senior Auditor

About the role

As a Senior Auditor in BDO Australia's Audit practice you will partner with a diverse range of public and private sector clients across multiple industries. You will build on your existing audit experience while benefiting from extensive training, mentorship from partners, and a supportive work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and internal staff.
• Provide guidance to audit team members and ensure audit procedures follow BDO’s methodology.
• Collaborate with the team to plan audit objectives and devise strategies that identify and address audit risks.
• Prepare and present consolidated financial reports in line with Australian reporting standards.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification and membership with CAANZ or CPA, or studying towards admission.
• 2‑4 years of external audit experience in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of Australian reporting requirements, AIFRS accounting, and current auditing, tax legislation, Corporations Act, ASIC and ASX regulations.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality outcomes and build excellent client relationships.
