Retail Manager – Southport (Dine‑In)

About the role

The Yiros Shop is seeking a full‑time Retail Manager to lead its Southport restaurant, overseeing daily operations, staff, stock, sales and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and well‑maintained stock levels.
• Lead, train and motivate a young team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Drive sales through upselling, promotions and local marketing.
• Handle customer feedback and maintain a consistently positive guest experience.
• Control inventory, ordering and waste minimisation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Manage labour through rosters, onboarding, cash handling and administrative duties.
• Monitor financial records, cash reconciliation and operating expenses.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control and financial performance monitoring.
• Implement and maintain SOPs for food safety, service standards and administrative processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a team in a fast‑paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Ability to motivate, lead and develop a young, vibrant team.
• Passion for exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Excellent time‑management and multitasking skills.
