Reservations & Rooms Control Agent

About the role

Sheraton Port Douglas is looking for a Reservations & Rooms Control Agent. As one of the first points of contact for guests, you will create a seamless, professional and welcoming booking experience while managing reservations and room inventory. You will work closely with the Front Office Sales and Events teams to meet guest needs and achieve operational and revenue objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservations, modifications and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
• Review, update and manage guest requests, tailoring them to individual preferences.
• Assist with and coordinate guest bookings and respond to telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Allocate rooms according to guest preferences and operational requirements.
• Complete reservation-related administrative duties and support the team.
• Help optimise revenue by maximising room inventory use and improving guest bookings.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar role; FIT/Group reservations experience is highly desirable.
• Working rights in Australia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
