Regional Manager – Military (Central Australia)

About the role

Acumen Health is seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded Regional Manager to lead on‑ and off‑base service delivery for Australian Defence Force members and veterans across Central Australia. You will oversee regional operations, build high‑performing teams and ensure contractual outcomes are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and report on regional service delivery to achieve KPIs, service standards and compliance.
• Promote clinical governance, safety and continuous quality improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with ADF representatives and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Coach, develop and support teams, including workforce planning and capability development.
• Manage regional P&L, revenue, margin and EBITDA to balance commercial and service quality outcomes.
• Represent Acumen Health at customer meetings, contract reviews and industry forums.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology or related Allied Health discipline with current registration.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational rehabilitation, injury management or similar.
• Strong operational leadership and people‑management experience with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proven success managing customers and delivering high‑quality outcomes for Defence personnel and veterans.
• Experience managing budgets, commercial outcomes or financial performance metrics.
