About the role
We are looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and visitors at the Finance Brokers Association of Australasia. Working hybrid from our Eight Mile Plains office, you will provide high‑quality member support while ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails and greet office visitors in a professional manner.
- Manage multiple business email accounts and ensure timely, courteous responses.
- Maintain office supplies, keep the reception area tidy and coordinate courier deliveries.
- Arrange meeting rooms, set up boardroom events and support on‑site logistics.
- Assist the Membership Team with member enquiries, data entry and processing of member payments.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently and adapt to new challenges.
- Positive attitude with a genuine focus on customer service.
- Australian permanent residency is mandatory.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
- Competence in Microsoft Excel.
- Competence in Microsoft Word.
