About the role

This circuit position delivers primary education (Prep to Year 6) across Jundah State School and Windorah State School in the Channel Country of Outback Queensland. The role offers a unique blend of professional growth, community engagement, and the adventure of remote living.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum for Prep‑Year 6 students in both schools.
• Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
• Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and collaborative projects.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit small‑school, remote environments.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting as required by the Department of Education.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Full or provisional Queensland Corrective Teacher (QCT) registration.
• Australian working rights or a valid visa.
• Enthusiasm for rural and remote education.
