Presales Architect – Cloud Operations Suite (CSP/MSP)

About the role

The Presales Architect will partner with CSP/MSP customers and HPE’s partner ecosystem to design, demonstrate and implement complex hybrid‑multi‑cloud solutions using the HPE Cloud Operations Suite.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical proposals and proof‑of‑concepts that align with customer business and technical requirements.
• Provide hands‑on solution demonstrations, architecture design and deployment guidance for virtualization, monitoring and automation tools.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities through partner engagements and contribute to pipeline forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal product and sales teams to create cost‑effective, scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5‑10 years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical selling and solution architecture.
• Proven track record designing virtualization solutions (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper‑V, KVM).

Required skills

• Virtualization platforms: VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper‑V, KVM.
• Operating systems: Linux, Windows.
• Networking: VLANs, routing, virtual switching.
• Storage: SAN/NAS, iSCSI, software‑defined storage.
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash.
• Monitoring and automation tools: OpsRamp, Aria Operations, Aria Automation, Dynatrace.
