Platform Engineer (AKS and Azure)

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platforms. You will work across engineering, infrastructure and security teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AKS environments and associated Azure infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning and deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub and Helm.
• Implement security and compliance controls such as RBAC, Managed Identity and secrets management.
• Monitor and optimise platform performance with Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Application Insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• Significant experience in platform, DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker and Linux.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation scripting.
• Experience implementing CI/CD, GitOps and configuration management tools.
