Pega Principal System Architect (PSA)

About the role

The Pega Principal System Architect (PSA) will champion enterprise-wide digital evolution by designing sophisticated multi‑tenant solutions and high‑level platform strategies. This role acts as a technical nexus, ensuring guardrail compliance and best‑practice adherence across the software ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, reusable, and secure end‑to‑end architectures using Pega Platform, applying Enterprise Class Structure and situational layer cake principles.
• Lead development teams, review rule configurations, enforce design quality with guardrail compliance scores above 90%, and mentor senior and system architects.
• Oversee complex integrations (REST, SOAP, Kafka, JMS) and cloud deployment strategies across Pega Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes environments.
• Optimize performance (database queries, data page caching, memory utilization) and enforce fine‑grained access control models (ABAC/RBAC).
• Translate business processes into case‑management life cycles, decisioning models, and Pega Process AI strategies for stakeholders.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of enterprise IT experience.
• Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) certification.

• Pega Platform core capabilities: case management, data modeling, rule resolution, background processing.
• Specialized Pega modules: Customer Decision Hub, Pega Process AI, Pega Constellation UI, DevOps pipelines.
• Complementary technologies: Java, SQL/NoSQL databases, microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Integration technologies: REST, SOAP, Kafka, JMS.
