Operator – Fixed Plant Raw Materials

About the role

This permanent position is on a 42‑day shift/night‑shift continuous roster at the Worsley Refinery in Western Australia. The role is based onsite (no accommodation provided) and candidates are expected to live within an hour’s drive of Collie. As an Operator – Fixed Plant Raw Materials you will operate fixed‑plant equipment safely and consistently, following operational plans, procedures and site standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control conveying, stacking & reclaiming, rail activities and overall plant performance.
• Work closely with the central control room, production and maintenance teams.
• Report events, hazards and plant status accurately and in a timely manner.
• Contribute to improved work practices, procedures and operational reliability.

Required profile

• Experience operating fixed plant in production environments, including conveying systems.
• Exposure to rail activities and train loading or unloading operations.
• Experience with materials handling activities such as stacking, reclaiming and product transfer.
• Confidence working around fixed and mobile plant with sound mechanical awareness.
