Operations Support Team Member (AM)

About the role

This position supports daily package flow at the Pemulwuy delivery hub, preparing loads, coordinating with drivers and delivery partners, and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. It offers a pathway to logistics management for proactive, hands‑on individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily load reports, track packages and process incoming/outgoing parcels, including returns.
• Coordinate load‑out with drivers and delivery partners, resolve delivery issues quickly, and liaise with the call centre for customer updates.
• Assist with truck loading/unloading, support the sortation team during peak periods, and maintain accurate data entry records.
• Escalate special cases to supervisors, keep the work area clean and safe, and flag operational issues early.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an operations, transport or warehouse environment.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and solutions‑focused attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lift up to 20 kg.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and relevant operational software.
