Occupational Therapist – Early Start Australia

About the role

Join Early Start Australia’s allied health team in Toowoomba and provide solution‑focused therapy to children and young people. You will work across clinic, home, school and community settings, delivering personalised, evidence‑based support.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients, develop and implement tailored therapy programmes, and monitor progress.
• Deliver services in various settings, including group therapy, parent workshops and home visits.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with ESA and NDIS standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in early intervention and solution‑focused therapy.
• Strong communication, organisational and observational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in the community and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
• Current NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working with Children/Vulnerable People clearance and police check.
• Valid driver’s licence, vehicle and first‑aid certification.
