Mobile Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Mining)

About the role

Mineral Resources is restarting the Bald Hill Lithium Mine near Kambalda and is seeking experienced Mobile Equipment Maintenance Specialists. The positions are full‑time, permanent and operate on a FIFO 2/1 roster from Perth, with occasional DIDO from the Goldfields region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, fitting and repairs on heavy‑duty (HD) and low‑voltage (LV) equipment, drills, automotive electrical systems, boilers and service units.
• Diagnose faults, conduct preventative maintenance and ensure equipment reliability for a large‑scale surface mining fleet.
• Work safely on machinery from major OEMs such as CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr and Komatsu.
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with site safety standards.

Required profile

• Australian recognised trade certificate for the relevant discipline (HD fitter, LV fitter, drill fitter, auto electrician, boilermaker, serviceperson).
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Air‑conditioning certification where applicable.
• Extensive experience with mining or mobile equipment maintenance on large‑scale surface mining machinery.
• Strong diagnostic, fault‑finding and preventative maintenance expertise.
• NHHC certification within 12 months or willingness to obtain it.
• Full right to work in Australia.
