Senior Project Manager – Defence Aviation Programs

About the role

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the continuous improvement program for the Air Combat Electronic Attack (ACEA) Support Contract. The role focuses on enhancing the operational effectiveness of the Royal Australian Air Force's F/A‑18F Super Hornet and EA‑18G Growler fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and track project plans that deliver identified efficiencies and improvements.
• Engage proactively with customers, suppliers, business leaders and other stakeholders to meet project commitments.
• Apply project planning principles to achieve outcomes on budget and schedule.
• Prepare and deliver program status reports, and coordinate project management meetings and site readiness reviews.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing complex projects to successful completion.
• Previous program integration experience in an operational sustainment environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence at multiple organisational levels.
• Experience implementing data analytics and optimisation tools.
• Formal qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Business or related fields (preferred).
