Manager - Tax Advisory

About the role

KPMG Australia is seeking a Manager for its Tax Advisory team in Melbourne. You will advise a diverse client base on complex tax matters, helping them navigate domestic and international tax legislation to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advice on domestic and international structuring, cross‑border transactions, and asset acquisition or divestment, including due diligence.
• Assist clients with taxation authority reviews, audits, disputes, financing arrangements, IPO structuring, and prospectus readiness.
• Maintain regular client contact, attend presentations and meetings with senior leaders, and ensure high‑quality client‑ready deliverables.

Required profile

• Experience in tax advisory within a Big 4 or mid‑tier professional services firm.
• Strong communication skills to distil and convey complex concepts in written and verbal form.
• Ability to oversee and present high‑quality deliverables to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Excellent tax technical capabilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law or similar, with CA or CPA qualification.
