Intermediate Accountant (Perth, WA)

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our Perth office. The role involves completing allocated sections of client assignments, ensuring high‑quality work in line with Hall Chadwick’s standards, and supporting senior staff throughout the audit and accounting process.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned sections of engagements following the firm’s quality control manual.
• Assist senior accountants in setting up client files and reviewing prior year documentation.
• Prepare clear, concise workpapers and conclusions that meet firm standards.
• Monitor deadlines, flag budget variances, and keep seniors informed of any issues.
• Communicate professionally with clients to gather information, understand their business, and identify opportunities for added value.
• Maintain professional courtesy and respect with all staff and clients.

Required profile

• Demonstrated initiative and sound judgement in managing time and workload.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while keeping seniors updated.
• Strong professional etiquette and client‑facing skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with creditors voluntary liquidations.
