Intermediate Accountant – Insolvency Division

About the role

Hall Chadwick is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join its Insolvency division. You will be responsible for completing allocated sections of assignments, ensuring high‑quality work that meets the firm’s standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned tasks in line with Hall Chadwick’s quality control manual.
• Assist senior staff in setting up files, reviewing prior year correspondence, and preparing documentation.
• Prepare clear, concise workpapers and conclusions following firm standards.
• Monitor deadlines, budget variances, and communicate any issues to senior or manager promptly.
• Maintain professional client liaison, gather required information, and identify opportunities to add value.
• Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to understand and follow detailed procedures and deadlines.
• Professional appearance and courteous communication with clients and colleagues.
• Capacity to recognise and raise potential issues affecting client relationships.

Required skills
