Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

Toyota Motor Corporation Australia is seeking two experienced Senior Procurement Specialists to join its Finance, Procurement & Legal Division. Based in Port Melbourne with regular travel to Altona North, the role blends strategic sourcing with governance to support Toyota's business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage procurement strategies that align with corporate goals.
• Optimize supplier selection, governance, and mix while ensuring quality, value, sustainability and compliance.
• Balance strong governance with commercial outcomes to drive efficient spend management.
• Act as a trusted advisor, fostering collaboration across functions and with suppliers to innovate and mitigate risk.
• Partner with Toyota Finance Australia stakeholders to design and deliver procurement solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior procurement or sourcing roles, preferably within large organisations.
• Strong understanding of procurement governance, supplier risk management and sustainable sourcing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between Port Melbourne and Altona North.
