HR Generalist / People & Culture Advisor (On‑site)

About the role

Join a truly unique workplace at Ayers Rock Resort, located just 20 minutes from Uluru. This on‑site HR Generalist / People & Culture Advisor role offers hands‑on responsibility across a diverse range of operations, from the airport and hotels to the campground and employee accommodation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end HR support for multiple business units, including employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations.
• Partner closely with operational leaders to coach, advise and develop workforce capability.
• Manage workforce planning, career development and cross‑skilling initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation and relevant industrial instruments.
• Support a diverse, multicultural workforce in a remote, iconic tourism environment.

Required profile

• Demonstrated HR / People & Culture experience in Australia.
• Strong generalist background covering the full employee lifecycle.
• Solid knowledge of Australian employment obligations and industrial awards.
• Proven experience handling employee relations issues and investigations.
• Confidence in coaching and advising people leaders.
• Interest in workforce and career development.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, retail or similar operational settings is highly regarded.
