Graduate Litigation Lawyer – Sydney

About the role

Keypoint Law is looking for a recent law graduate to join its Sydney Wills & Estates team as a Graduate Litigation Lawyer. This full‑time, hybrid role offers direct mentorship from a senior principal and hands‑on experience across a range of litigation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Support the principal and a small team in the Wills & Estates practice.
• Assist with estate and succession planning matters, including testamentary trusts and asset protection.
• Prepare and manage wills, powers of attorney, probate files and estate administrations.
• Conduct research and drafting for contested wills and estates litigation, such as Family Provision Act claims.
• Participate in client meetings to gain direct client exposure.

Required profile

• Recent law graduate with a strong interest in litigation.
• Some paralegal experience or exposure to wills, estates and litigation matters.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, high‑performing team.
• Willingness to undertake Practical Legal Training under supervision.

Required skills

• Understanding of estate and succession planning concepts.
• Familiarity with probate, administration of estates, and related tax/superannuation issues.
• Basic knowledge of contested wills and estates litigation processes.
