Full Time Shift Leader

About the role

As a Shift Leader at Guzman y Gomez you will drive daily operations, coach crew members and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. This full‑time position requires a hands‑on approach to managing staff, food safety and store profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and motivate the crew while maintaining high energy on each shift.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold a customer‑first mindset.
• Manage food safety, cash handling, cleaning, stock control and labour costs.
• Oversee deliveries, verify orders against invoices and ensure accuracy.

Required profile

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate and complete a Responsible Service of Alcohol course.

Required skills

• Ability to manage labour and cost of goods (COGS) effectively.
• Strong communication skills for clear team alignment.
