Finance Manager - Australian Operations

About the role

Kering Eyewear is looking for a Finance Manager based in Frenchs Forest, Sydney, to oversee the finance activities of its Australian operations. The role reports to the Regional CFO APAC and covers accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, credit management and financial planning, with close partnership with local and regional stakeholders. It is a hands-on position combining local finance expertise with a commercial, business-partnering mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting under IFRS and group accounting policies
• Coordinate statutory audits, tax filings, transfer pricing and regulatory reporting with external auditors, tax advisers and authorities
• Monitor cash balances, cash flow forecasts and net financial position, and recommend ways to optimise liquidity and working capital
• Maintain internal controls, the compliance framework and risk management practices
• Oversee accounts receivable, including credit assessments, order blocking, invoicing and collections; monitor AR ageing and work with commercial teams to limit bad debt
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasts and ad-hoc planning, and provide variance analysis and recommendations
• Act as a business partner to local management and functional leaders, giving financial guidance to support growth and profitability

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years of progressively responsible finance experience in a major company or division of a large corporation
• Experience in competitive, brand-sensitive, service-oriented markets and with wholesale and retail partners
• Proven results in a structured, multinational environment and in change management projects covering organisation, information systems and business processes
• Strong English communication, leadership and strategic thinking skills
