Education Consultant – Indian Subcontinent

About the role

The Education Consultant will support international students from the Indian sub‑continent who are studying in Australia. Reporting to the Student Placement Manager in Melbourne, you will provide placement advice, visa guidance and sales support through phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality customer service by understanding and meeting students’ study and visa needs.
• Grow the Indian sub‑continent student market and achieve individual placement targets using effective sales conversion techniques.
• Manage leads and the student lifecycle pipeline on the company CRM platform.
• Increase referrals from existing students and engage with education institution representatives.
• Maintain strong relationship‑building and teamwork skills while handling related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and at least one regional language (Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Telugu, etc.).
• 1‑2 years experience in the international education industry, with a proven sales record.
• QEAC certification preferred.
• Valid Australian work rights (active 485 visa or permanent residency).
• Customer‑centric attitude and ability to work in a cross‑cultural environment.
