Distribution Centre Team Leader

About the role

Henry Schein is seeking a Distribution Centre Team Leader to oversee order picking, packing and dispatch in a fast‑moving warehouse environment. The role will support the upcoming move to a new, temperature‑controlled facility in Maddington from January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately, safely and on time.
• Lead a small team, coordinate daily warehouse activities and maintain high performance standards.
• Assist with the relocation and set‑up of the new distribution centre, establishing processes from day one.

Required profile

• Proven team‑leader experience in a warehouse setting with hands‑on operational responsibility.
• Strong inventory control background and understanding of WH&S requirements.
• Ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail and deliver customer‑focused service.

Required skills

• Experience using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software and scanners.
• Solid computer skills for email, spreadsheets and data entry.
• Certificate III in Warehousing and forklift licence (preferred).
