Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Temporary/Casual)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience for customers, addressing their end‑to‑end financial needs and goals. The role is primarily branch‑based, focusing on high‑quality service, product knowledge and digital education.

Key responsibilities

• Drive significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy.
• Participate actively in bank programs and initiatives.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and ensure compliance with ANZ policies.
• Deliver accurate transactions and provide needs‑based conversations aligned with your accreditation level.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multi‑task, adapt to change and work in ambiguous situations.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
