Associate – Institutional Non-Financial Risk (Vietnam)

About the role

ANZ is looking for an Associate to join its Institutional Non-Financial Risk (NFR) team in Vietnam. The role supports business leaders and risk & control functions in managing non-financial risk across the International Institutional business, ensuring decisions are made within the bank’s risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Support business and risk teams with non-financial risk matters.
• Identify and assess key risk themes and their impact on the business.
• Build effective working relationships across business, risk and control functions.
• Facilitate risk processes, including meetings, reporting and issue escalation.
• Track, monitor and timely escalate risks and issues.
• Assist in improving controls and risk practices.
• Maintain documentation and support issue management.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical actions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and emerging risks.
• Support the delivery and embedding of the PACT program across the region.

Required profile

• Full-time, permanent position based in Ho Chi Minh City.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business, risk and control stakeholders.
