Area Manager – Delivery Station

About the role

Amazon is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a team of associates at its Delivery Station in Ravenhall, VIC. You will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, safely, and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Review and understand the transportation process from Fulfilment Centres to delivery stations.
• Ensure sufficient bandwidth in the sortation team to meet peak delivery demands.
• Assist Area Managers with performance appraisals and mentor station supervisors.
• Continuously improve throughput and sustain delivery performance improvements.
• Analyze data reports to identify bottlenecks and drive performance enhancements.
• Research and apply formal process control and improvement methods such as Kaizen.

Required profile

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Capability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
