About the role

We are partnering with several well‑established public practice firms in Hobart and across Tasmania to recruit accountants at various experience levels. The firms serve a diverse client base in tax, advisory and internal audit, offering a collaborative culture and clear progression pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review bookkeeping, compliance and tax returns for a range of clients.
• Provide business advisory services and support internal audit engagements.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development (senior roles).
• Assist in shaping processes and improving service delivery.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years public practice experience for accountant level; 5+ years and CA/CPA qualification for senior roles.
• Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Collaborative, proactive mindset with a genuine interest in professional growth.
