Accountant

About the role

Ceejay Engineering is seeking a proactive Accountant to oversee its financial accounting and reporting functions. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, providing financial insights, and supporting the company’s growth in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial accounting, reporting, and preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, and banking activities.
• Process payroll, handle tax compliance, and manage other financial transactions.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Provide financial guidance to department heads and senior management.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and periodicals.
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
