Site Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment

About the role

An experienced Site Manager is needed to lead a landmark $20M refurbishment project for a well‑established fit‑out contractor in Sydney. You will oversee day‑to‑day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, drive programme outcomes and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and supervise all trades on‑site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress against the programme and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain site safety compliance, conduct toolbox talks and enforce quality controls.
• Report on performance, budget and schedule to senior management.

Required profile

• Carpentry or trade background with strong hands‑on experience.
• Proven track record delivering commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects up to $10M+, with ability to step onto larger contracts.
• Stable employment history with reputable builders or fit‑out contractors.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
