Senior Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The Senior Sourcing Specialist will oversee and manage the supply chain process at our Braemac production facility, ensuring timely product delivery while minimizing costs and lead times.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise the supply chain.
• Select and evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability and cost effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels to meet demand while reducing excess stock.
• Coordinate with production teams for timely replenishment.
• Implement best practices for warehousing and fulfillment.
• Identify process improvement and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Establish contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration (preferred).
• At least seven years of experience in supply chain, logistics or operations management, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Leadership experience driving cross‑functional teams and organisational change.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with supply chain management software.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
