Senior Commercial Lawyer (5+ PQE)

About the role

Lawpath Legal, a legal technology/SaaS provider backed by Westpac and focused on giving small and medium businesses access to legal, compliance and accounting solutions, is looking for a senior lawyer (5+ PQE) to join its internal team. The lawyer advises startups and small and medium businesses on a wide range of general commercial matters, with a platform that supports rather than slows down legal work.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate and commercial law
• Passion for startups, NewLaw and legal innovation
• Understanding of the challenges faced by SMBs
• Ability to work autonomously and make quick decisions
• Comfortable in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
• Dedication to exceeding client expectations
• Full legal working rights to work in Australia

Experience with business sales and commercial property matters is a bonus but not required.
