Sales Development Representative, ANZ

About the role

Globalpayer is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join its Commercial team and help drive the growth of its payment business. The APAC SDR team generates leads, qualifies prospects and sets up meetings for the Business Development team, with a focus on Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-quality pipeline of target accounts across Australia and New Zealand.
• Own outbound prospecting strategies across key industries, engaging senior decision-makers through personalised, multi-channel outreach.
• Qualify opportunities by uncovering business challenges, commercial priorities and buying intent before moving them into the sales pipeline.
• Partner with Business Development, Marketing and Solutions teams to drive account penetration, conversion rates and deal progression.
• Maintain disciplined account planning, CRM management and pipeline reporting, with accurate forecasting.

• Ability to learn and adapt to new sales skills, processes and products.
• Strong written, phone and in-person communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Hunger and determination to exceed sales targets, and resilience to follow up on cold outreach.

• Knowledge of LinkedIn, Salesforce, Outreach and other lead generation tools.
