Project Manager – Hospital Projects (Health)

About the role

Lead the delivery of hospital projects across South East Queensland, managing brownfield refurbishments and new‑build work in live clinical environments. You will balance construction delivery with the operational needs of staff and patients while acting as a trusted adviser to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of hospital projects ranging from $2 million to $20 million, from planning through handover.
• Coordinate design consultants, ensuring compliance, infection control and technical requirements are met.
• Oversee procurement, tender processes and contractor engagement, including contract administration.
• Control budgets, programme schedules and risk, providing clear client reporting.
• Build strong relationships with clinical end‑users, facilities teams, consultants and contractors.

Required profile

• Proven hospital project experience, preferably brownfield or refurbishment work in operational settings.
• Experience managing projects in the $2 million‑$20 million range.
• Strong understanding of design, procurement, contract administration and construction delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client‑focused communication skills.
• Tertiary qualification in project management, construction management, architecture, engineering or related discipline.
