Mineralogist (Minerals) - Perth or Adelaide

About the role

Bureau Veritas Minerals, part of Bureau Veritas, is looking for an experienced Mineralogist to work in its Perth or Adelaide laboratory. The role leads and supports mineral processing projects from planning through to reporting, working closely with clients, technical teams and senior stakeholders. It suits someone who combines technical expertise with client management and project leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mineralogical interpretation, data analysis and technical reporting
• Coordinate and supervise laboratory test work and project activities
• Collaborate with clients to deliver project outcomes and technical solutions
• Monitor project schedules, quality standards and operational performance
• Support safety, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Degree qualified in geology or a related discipline
• Proven experience in mineralogy
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented laboratory environment
