Host - New Restaurant Opening (Spring 2026)

About the role

Wishbone, a new restaurant concept from Lucas Collective, is opening in Melbourne's CBD in November 2026, bringing the energy and flavour of Hong Kong street food and neighbourhood diners. The restaurant is being built from the ground up, so the Host joins from day one and is the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for the premium dining venue.

Required profile

• Experience as a Host in a premium venue
• Experience with Seven Rooms, OpenTable, Triple Seat, ResPAK or similar
• Valid RSA certificate
• Availability to work a rotating roster including opening and closing shifts, weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Immaculate presentation and exceptional communication
• Demonstrated experience of exceeding guest expectations
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail and time management
• Outgoing personality and genuine interest in day-to-day operations
