Export Customer Director

About the role

Primo Foods, a smallgoods brand part of JBS Australia, is seeking an experienced Export Customer Director to lead the growth of its export business across retail and QSR channels and international markets. Reporting to the General Manager Sales, the role leads an established team and drives sales growth, profitability, market expansion and customer engagement. It suits a leader comfortable in both the boardroom and in the market, working with senior executives, key customers and industry stakeholders across Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the export strategy and grow presence in existing and emerging markets
• Secure new business and build partnerships with distributors, retailers and QSR operators
• Manage key customer relationships and negotiate commercial agreements
• Own the Export P&L, delivering revenue, profitability and market share objectives
• Work with Marketing, Category, Innovation and Operations on new products and growth initiatives
• Develop pricing, promotional and trading strategies
• Lead forecasting and demand planning, and manage export supply chain, distribution and inventory
• Monitor competitors and market trends, and lead and develop the export team

Required profile

• Senior commercial, sales or export leadership experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment, preferably with short shelf-life products
• Track record of profitable growth, strategic partnerships and complex negotiations
• Experience across international markets, export operations and distributor networks
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field
