Community & Stakeholder Advisor for Faster Rail Project

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Community & Stakeholder Advisor to act as the daily voice of the $5.75 billion Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project. You will engage residents, businesses and community groups along a 20‑km rail corridor, supporting the communications team in delivering clear, timely information.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with construction teams to forecast works impacts and plan notifications.
• Respond to stakeholder enquiries and complaints, resolving issues with project teams.
• Prepare works notifications, fact sheets and newsletters for impacted communities.
• Maintain the Open Point stakeholder database and ensure accurate records.
• Support community information sessions, reference group meetings and project events.
• Coordinate photography/videography and assist in post‑production content.
• Draft messaging for media enquiries, hot issues and internal updates.
• Monitor community feedback and produce stakeholder engagement reports.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of community engagement experience, preferably on infrastructure projects.
• Strong written communication for notifications, fact sheets and media messaging.
• Calm, professional handling of enquiries and complaints.
• Organised approach to competing priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with stakeholder databases; Open Point preferred.
