Client Relationship Manager - Employee Share Plans

About the role

MUFG Pension & Market Services is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join its growing Employee Share Plans team in Sydney. The role manages a portfolio of established corporate clients and develops specialist expertise in Employee Share Plans within a global financial services organisation. It suits experienced client-facing professionals in banking, wealth management, superannuation, funds management, share registry, stockbroking or other regulated corporate services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships and act as the day-to-day contact for corporate clients.
• Manage client enquiries, issues and service requests.
• Coordinate the delivery of Employee Share Plan activities.
• Lead client meetings and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Monitor service performance and ensure client expectations are met.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client partnerships and improve service outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal operational, project and technical teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.

Required profile

• Current or recent experience as a Client Relationship Manager, Account Manager, Client Service Manager, Corporate Account Manager, Relationship Manager, Implementation Manager or Customer Success Manager in financial services.
• Experience managing a portfolio of corporate or business clients.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, strong commercial awareness and client focus.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems proactively.

Required skills

• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Experience in banking, wealth management, funds management, superannuation, share registry, employee share plans, corporate trust, stockbroking or custody services is viewed favourably.
