Civil / Structural Drafter (Technical Officer) – Dams

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Civil / Structural Drafter (Technical Officer) to support dam projects across Australia. You will prepare and maintain detailed 2D drawings, work closely with engineers and project managers, and ensure all documentation meets client and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update detailed 2D AutoCAD and Revit drawings for dam infrastructure.
• Support engineers and designers with reference file coordination, design development and project deliverables.
• Maintain high drafting quality through accurate documentation, version control and compliance with WHS requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage queries, incorporate feedback and improve drafting processes.

Required profile

• Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma in Engineering Design.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and guidelines relevant to civil/structural design.
• Experience drafting civil/structural projects, preferably in the dam sector.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
