Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Bailey Nelson is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the North Lakes location. You will help deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection, while stepping in to lead the store two days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist in providing a smooth customer experience.
• Take ownership of the store for two days each week, leading the team and driving performance.
• Maintain the appointment book and ensure every interaction feels easy and enjoyable.
• Coach and support staff to consistently deliver great service.

Required profile

• Values aligned with a tight‑knit, down‑to‑earth, constantly improving culture.
• Retail or optics experience at a supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader who enjoys developing others.
• Passionate about creating excellent customer experiences.
• Available to work full‑time on a Sunday‑to‑Thursday roster.
